About VideosCompressor

VideosCompressor makes videos, images and PDFs smaller, free and without uploading them anywhere.

Why this site exists

Sending a video shouldn't require an account, a watermark or trusting a stranger's server with your files. Yet most online compressors upload everything you give them. We built VideosCompressor around a simple idea: your files should stay on your device. Modern browsers are powerful enough to compress videos, images and PDFs on their own, so that's exactly what we do.

Who runs VideosCompressor

VideosCompressor is operated by GAVA COMPRESSOR, an individual based in Morocco. You can reach us at any time through the contact page or by email.

Our guides and articles

Guides and articles on this site are written and reviewed by the VideosCompressor Editorial Team. We aim to explain compression in plain language, and we check platform limits and device instructions against official sources, such as help centre pages from the services concerned, before publishing them. Where those limits change, we update our pages and show the date of the last update.

If you spot a mistake or an outdated instruction, please let us know through the contact page.

Our commitments

  • Privacy first. Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded. Metadata such as location is removed by default.
  • Free core tools. The video, image and PDF compressors are free, with no watermark and no artificial limits.
  • Honest information. No fake reviews, user counts or invented claims. If something has limits, we say so.
  • Clearly labelled ads. Ads keep the site free. They're marked "Advertisement" and kept away from the tools and download buttons.
